Checklist: Risk assessment for use of pressurised equipment

Assessment of risks according to [AFS 2023:11] §§ 6-11 and § 14 chapter 9 – General requirements for use of pressurised equipment, can be requested by notified bodies during audit controls. This document is based on what is stated in the regulation and is a tool for carrying out the risk assessment, see [SSG 2118]. More information about risks in the work environment can be found in the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations on systematic work environment [AFS 2023:1]. There are rules for how the employer must regularly examine the working conditions and assess which risks may occur in the business. There are also rules stating that measures must be taken to prevent the risks. Use the editable appendix, appendix 50 SSG 7650E, to determine the control class of the pressurised equipment.
