This standard applies to SSG PED pipe classes in stainless, acid resistant and duplex material. For a summary of SSG’s PED pipe classes, see SSG 7829E – “Piping class according to PED: summary”.
SSG’s PED pipe classes consist of pipes and fittings dimensioned after a pressure and temperature curve (p/T) according to the European harmonized flange standard, for pressure classes PN10, PN16, PN25, PN40. The standard also covers pipe class PN3 (low pressure) for stainless and acid resistant material.
