This standard relates to valves for industrial purposes. This standard does not cover safety valves. The purpose of the standard is to meet the needs of the Client with regard to the definition of requirements in the case of valve procurement in industry. The standard provides recommendations for describing various types of valve using codes. Application in accordance with SSG 7650E - Pipe systems. Recommendations for the selection of materials and classification, components and for control and inspection. The valve standard is compliant with the requirements specified in the SSG standard for pipe classes. The standard observes the values for the highest permitted pressure (PS) and temperature (TS) for the pressure classes PN 10-40 in accordance with the SSG standard for pipe classes.
