This document gives recommendations for the construction of concrete floor channels in the width range 300-900 mm.
The figures give details of channels in floors laid on the ground. For floor slabs not laid directly on the ground, the inside dimensions and minimum dimensions given in the figures apply.
Covers for concrete floor channels are specified in SSG 5705. With regard to flow measure-ment in channels, see SSG 5416-25, Venturi channels.
With regard to channels of smaller dimensions, the supplier of prefabricated channels of stainless steel or polyester concrete are to be contacted.
