This document gives recommendations for the construction of anti-vibration machine foundations (with vibration isolators).
Recommendations for the construction of foundations, rigidly fixed to the floor, are set out in SSG 5501.
Recommendations for anchorage in the machine foundation using holding down bolts are given in SSG 5510.
The sheet TECHNICAL DATA for the construction of machine foundations has been appended to this standard, for use in procuring services or to communicate construction data.
