The standard provides recommendations concerning paint systems for initial painting and maintenance painting on metallic materials and zinc in various environments in the forestry industry. It also provides instructions on how the paint system designation to be included in order documentation is to be specified. The aim of the standard is to make it easy to choose the correct surface treatment for purchasers of painting work in the forestry industry or in any other industry with similar environments.
